Thomas Reagan and Julia McCarthy

THOMAS REGAN/REGAN may have been the oldest son of THOMAS REAGAN and MARGARET SHEEHAN.  His Death Certificate states that he was born on December 15, 1929 in Ireland.  Thomas married JULIA MCCARTHY. The 1900 Federal Census states she was born in 1834. It is thought that they were married in Ireland and immigrated to the United States together in 1857.  Thomas and Julia settled on a parcel of land in the Hamlet of Borodino in the Town of Spafford, Onondaga County, New York.  Thomas was a farmer and land owner as shown on the map below.

Julia died on February 22, 1902 and Thomas on December 20, 1919. They are buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Skaneateles, NY.

"Reagan, Thomas
Reagan in the town of Spafford, NY Saturday December 20, 1919 Thomas Reagan. Funeral Services were held at St. Mary's Church at 10:30 o'clock this morning.  Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery."

Regan In Spafford NY Saturday February 22, 1902, Mrs. Julia Regan, aged 70 years.  Funeral Monday at St. Mary's Church in this village.  Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery."

 JULIA REAGAN  was born on June 20, 1860 and died in 1925. She married PHILLIP PENDERGAST born in 1958 and died in 1929. Their children are:
        PHILLIP PENDERGAST JR.. born in 1889 and died  in 1971
        THOMAS PENDERGAST born in 1891 and died 2/1/1952
        MARGUERITE PENDERGAST  She married Grover Ryan  

JOHN LAWRENCE REAGAN was born in 1862 and died in 1924.
He married MARY QUINN who was born 10/4/1872 and died in Borodino, NY in 1959.  They had 6 children:
          

JOHN THOMAS REAGAN was born on 12/16/1899 and died on 1/20/1970.  He was married to ADELAIDE T. REED who was born 8/8/1899 and died on 2/6/1980.  He as known as Jay or JT and was a framer with his homestead on Bishop Hill Road, Marcellus NY.  He and his cousin George B. Reagan ran a cattle auction on Cedarvale Road in Cedarvale, NY in the 1940's.  Adelaide was a history teacher at Theodore Roosevlet Jr. High School on Brighton Avenue in Syracuse, New York until her retirement about 1962.

WILLIAM LESLIE REAGAN  was born on 5/18/1902 and died on 9/12/1981 in Auburn NY. He married NORA CALKINS on 6/25 at St. Mary's Church, Skaneateles, NY.  Nora was born 1/1/198 and died on 2/12/1988. Their daughter:

           LOIS REAGAN was born on 12/20/1939 and married DAVID G. LAXTON who was born 12/20/1936. They were married on 12/22/1958 at St. Mary's Church, Skaneateles, NY

GROVER VINCENT REAGAN married EDITH SMITH and settled in Detroit, Michigan. He died 5/18/1961.

MARGARET AGNES REAGAN  was born 10/20/1911 in Spafford. She died 4/16/1996 and is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Skaneateles, NY.

BERNARD PHILLIP REAGAN was born 4/2/1915 and died 9/1948.  He married DORIS LOUISE LEIGH on 3/6/1938.  She was born 4/21/1921

MARY ANN REAGAN was born on May 14, 1863 and Married JOSEPH F. O'BRIEN on 5/18/1892 in Syracuse, NY.



MARGARET REAGAN was born 1/15/1865 and died 3/14/1917.  She married TIMOTHY PENDERGAST who was born 9/14/1863 and died on 4/1/1943. Their son:
